2021 Conference Call for Proposals

*Please note - the proposal forms are no longer available.

Proposal Submission Deadline: CLOSED

The 2021 Conference Education Subcommittee invites submission of proposals for Professional Development Intensives (eight and four hour) and 90 Minute Workshops for our 2021 Annual Conference, which will be held virtually on June 10-13, 2021.
The 2021 conference theme is Celebrating 75 Years: Honor our Past, Pause in the Present, Innovate for the Future. Our goals at the 2021 annual conference will be to expand boundaries in Self Care, in Client Care, in Institutional Care and in Community Care. We encourage you to share your expertise, inspire colleagues, stimulate thoughtful discussion and educate others on important issues within institutional chaplaincy.
We hope to receive proposals for educational offerings including:
New and creative ways for chaplains to collaborate with interdisciplinary partners
Implications of innovative quality-improvement projects
Next steps in evidence-based chaplaincy, in practice and theory
Research or pilot projects testing new services in new settings
Addressing spiritual care needs in non-acute care settings
Reflect the theme and objectives of the conference
We also want proposals that recognize, engage and expand the diversity within our field.
The deadline to submit proposals was October 25, 2020. Thank you to everyone that submitted a proposal.
