APC Announces Spring Symposium

2017 Spring Chaplain Symposium Registration is Now Open
APC™ Forum, February 2017, Vol. 19 No. 1
The Association of Professional Chaplains™ is hosting its Spring Chaplain Symposium in Littleton, CO at Denver Seminary on Thursday, March 16, 2017. The theme, “The Importance of Collaboration in Achieving Common Goals,” will feature relevant and inspiring content from which chaplains in all practice settings can benefit. Registration will be available through March 14th for remote participation.
Presentations will include:
  • Partnering for Moral Injury Interventions Across the Wide Chaplaincy Landscape

  • The Chaplains Role in Healthcare Transformation: Addressing the Quadruple Aim (parts 1 & 2)
    Rev. William R. DeLong MDiv EdD BCC, Director, ACPE Supervisor Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education Legacy, Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children's Hospital
  • Leveraging Multidisciplinary Relationships for Spiritual Assessment and the Identification of Spiritual Distress 
    Rev. Michael Guthrie MDiv BCC, Director of Spiritual Care and Volunteer Services, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.
The Symposium consists of two 90-minute presentations and one 3-hour presentation. The program qualifies for six CE hours for maintenance of BCCI® certification.
