The Commission on Advocacy is responsible for coordinating, encouraging, resourcing and supporting the social justice, bioethics, religious and public issue concerns of the association. Commission members network with state advocacy chairs as well as external groups such as pastoral care associations, social justice ministries of faith groups, inter-religious health care coalitions, grass roots special interest groups and state and national agencies and organizations interested in promoting interests similar to the interests of the association.
