Call for Poster Proposals

Proposal Submission Deadline: February 28, 2019

The 2019 Joint Conference Education Subcommittee invites you to submit poster presentation proposals for the 2019 APC Annual Conference, June 20-23 at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, FL
The 2019 conference theme will be Outside the Lines: Expanding Boundaries
Posters related to our theme and goals will be given strong consideration during the selection process.
Poster presentations will allow you to share your expertise, inspire colleagues, stimulate thoughtful discussion and educate others on important issues within institutional chaplaincy.
Posters are visual presentations of knowledge: results of research, research-in-progress reports, summaries of innovations or initiatives, literature reviews, or other highlights from your work providing spiritual care  to those you serve. Beyond workshops and professional development intensives, poster displays offer conference attendees an additional way to take in new knowledge. And they become visual aides to in-depth conversation between attendees and poster presenters. Please note that poster displays are not intended to replace or serve as marketing or advertising.
There are many resources that can help you develop your poster, including guidelines and information on crafting a professional poster presentation (poster guidelines and hints button at the top of the page). We are continuing to partner with to offer poster templates and a discount.
Accepted posters will be displayed on Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23, 2019. There will be a session 5:30 p.m. - 6:45p.m. on Saturday, June 22 that will allow presenters to interact with conference participants. Presenters can also get a discount on early bird registration.
The Conference Education Subcommittee looks forward to reviewing your poster proposal and encourages all members and friends of APC to consider this opportunity for the 2019 Annual Conference. If you have any questions, please contact us at
