SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All proposals MUST adhere to the instructions. A RESUME AND/OR CURRICULUM VITAE IS REQUIRED WITH SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL.  Please attach as a Word document with the proposal. Incomplete and inaccurate information provided may result in non-acceptance of the proposal.
 
All sessions must have a lead presenter who serves as the primary contact and who will be readily available by e-mail and phone in the months leading up to the conference. It is the lead presenter’s responsibility to notify APC of any contact information changes for the lead and/or co-presenters that may occur after a proposal is submitted.
 
Please complete the Professional Development Intensive and/or Workshop Proposal template, and submit the completed template by e-mail to education@professionalchaplains.org no later than Friday, September 7, 2018.

Proposals should be e-mailed with the subject line:
Last Name, First Name – APC 2019 [Workshop or Professional Development Intensive] Proposal Submission.
 
SELECTED PRESENTER INCENTIVES
 
Professional Development Intensive– Wednesday, June 19; Thursday, June 20; Sunday June 23
$400 Honorarium for 4 hour; $800 for 8 hour
 
90 Minute Workshop–Friday, June 21; Saturday, June 22; Sunday, June 23
$100 off early bird registration for main presenter; $50 off early bird registration for co-presenters.
Discount is not applicable to full, student, or daily registrations.
 
Complimentary conference registration is NOT available to presenters. Presenters interested in attending the APC annual conference may do so at their own expense.Workshop presenters receive discounted rates as outlined above.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
Once a workshop has been accepted and listed on the APC website, it imposes a serious burden to cancel it. Please do not submit a proposal if you are uncertain that you will be able to fulfill your obligation to organize and conduct the session at the agreed upon time.

TEMPLATE INSTRUCTIONS
Download the Professional Development Intensive and/or Workshop proposal template from the Annual Conference section of the APC Web site www.professionalchaplains.org. To complete the proposal form template, follow the instructions below:
  1. Open the Professional Development Intensive and/or Workshop Proposal Form Template
    you wish to submit.
  2. Click ‘File.’
  3. Click ‘Save As.’
  4. Save the template in the appropriate folder.
  5. In the File Name section, save the template as Last Name, First Name – Workshop Title.
  6. Complete the template.
  7. Once the template is complete, save the template.
  8. Click ‘File.’
  9. Click ‘Close.’
  10.  Attach this file to an e-mail and send it to education@professionalchaplains.org.
