Rev. Kimberly Murman MDiv MBA BCC
The Reverend Kimberly Murman MDiv MBA BCC Murman is the Spiritual Care ACPE senior manager for Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. She has served APCTM as board member, secretary, treasurer, Finance Committee member, Standards Committee board liaison, Education Committee chair, White Paper Update Task Force chair and as chair/co-chair of the Workshops Committees for the 2006 and 2007 annual conferences. She holds an MDiv from Colgate Rochester Divinity Schools and an MBA/Healthcare from the University of Phoenix. Murman has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 2003 and is endorsed by the Presbyterian Church USA. She will serve one-year terms in the offices of president-elect and president.

The Reverend Ronald C. Oliver is the system vice president, Mission and Outreach, of Norton Healthcare, Louisville, KY. He is endorsed by Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 1996. He holds doctor of philosophy, master of theology and master of divinity degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served APCTM as a board member, Quality in Chaplaincy Care Committee member, Education Committee board liaison and 2010 Conference Plenary Speakers chair. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Advisors of WaterStep and the Advisory Board of the Young Professionals of Louisville, and formerly served on the Wayne E. Oates Institute Board of Directors. He is a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Spiritual Care Administration Team and has been deployed on several large-scale disasters. He previously served on the BCCI® Commission on Certification as coordinator of education and development. In addition, he has served on the Membership Committee as state membership chairs coordinator, and as South Texas state membership chair. Endorsed by the Texas Baptist church, he has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 1998.

Jana Troutman-Miller MA BCC serves as chaplain and Episcopal priest at Saint John’s on the Lake, a retirement community in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to Saint John’s, she had several years of experience in the chaplaincy areas of acute care, mom/babies, mental health and addictions, and long-term care. BCCI® board certified since 2003, she has served as secretary of the Wisconsin Chaplaincy Association, APCTM Wisconsin state advocacy chair, and Integrated Standards of Practice Task Force co-chair.

The Reverend Jeffery T. Garland DMin EdS BCC has been an active member with APCTM since 1997 and a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 2002. He is employed as a chaplain with the Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center in West Orange, NJ. Endorsed by The American Baptist Churches, USA, Garland is the assistant to the pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. He received his doctorate of ministry from Drew University School of Theology, his master of divinity from New York Theological Seminary and his education specialist in marriage and family therapy degree from Seton Hall University. Mark LaRocca-Pitts has served as a professional chaplain for 17 years and currently serves as a hospice chaplain with Crossroads Hospice of Atlanta. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at Candler School of Theology in Pastoral Care. He has been BCCI® board certified since 2006 and is endorsed by the United Methodist Church. He has served in various leadership roles with APCTM, including state representative of Georgia, chair of the History Committee, chair of the Communications Committee, on the Quality in Chaplaincy Care Committee, and on the task forces for Standards of Practice in Acute Care, in Long-Term Care, and the Integrated Standards of Practice. Mark received his MA in Religious Studies from Indiana University, his MDiv from Harvard Divinity School, and his PhD from Harvard University. He is past president of the Georgia Society for Healthcare Chaplains and founder/host of Death Café Atlanta.

The Reverend Dr. Janet R. McCormack has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 1999. Endorsed by the American Baptist Churches-USA, she holds degrees from Southeastern Baptist and Denver Seminaries. She has wide chaplaincy experience, including military, health care, prisons, disaster relief and auto racing. McCormack serves at Denver Seminary as director of Chaplaincy and Pastoral Counseling Programs, where she oversees certificate, masters and doctorate programs. Jan serves as the chief research consultant to the Military Chaplains Association and is pursuing supervisory certification with the Association for Clinical Pastoral education. With Naomi Paget, she co-authored "The Work of the Chaplain." She served as APCTM Colorado state continuing education co-chair and as the Commission on Advocacy’s Education chair.

He has served as a staff chaplain at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS since 2003. Endorsed by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), he holds a bachelor of arts from William Carey College and a master of divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before joining the board, Murphy served APCTM as state representative for Mississippi, the national coordinator of state representatives and BCCI certification chair for Area 8. He was also the founding president of the Mississippi Chaplains Association.

The Reverend Floyd G. O'Bryan BCC (retired) is Endorsed by the Assemblies of God and has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 1983. Previously, he served APCTM as Nominating Committee chair. He has also served as a member of the Standards of Practice Acute Care Work Group, the Membership Services Council and the Regionalization Work Group. On the local level, he served as Minnesota state representative.

Jon A. Overvold, MDiv, BCC is the Corporate Director of System Chaplaincy Services for Northwell Health (formerly North Shore LIJ Health System). Northwell Health consists of 21 hospitals and 61,000 employees providing healthcare in New York City and the larger New York metropolitan area. Jon has served as New York State Representative for the APC and also as chair of the APC Quality Commission. He became a board certified chaplain in 1999 and has 25 years experience in healthcare chaplaincy. Jon holds a BA in history from Pacific Lutheran University, and received his master of divinity from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jon is ordained and endorsed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Rev. Inetta Reddell has been a Board Certified Chaplain since 2013 and is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. She has served on several boards including the Board of Directors for Kairos International Prison and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors at Deerfield, Riverwood, and Bannockburn (DBR) as well as served on their Executive Board of Directors. Inetta has a MDiv and MBE (Masters of Bioethics) and Masters of Christian Studies with emphasis in Pastoral Counseling and was ordained at Second Baptist Church. She is currently working at UMC (University Medical Center) Health System in Lubbock, TX since 2013. Inetta also currently serves as senior pastor for First United Methodist Church of Sudan. Prior to serving on the APC™ Board of Directors, Inetta was APC™ State Representative for North Texas State.

The Reverend John Simon has been a BCCI® board certified chaplain since 2001. Endorsed by the Progressive National Baptist Convention, he is the director of Integrated Patient Experience & Chaplaincy at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. In addition, he serves as senior pastor of The Historic Second Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie. He earned his master of divinity degree from Yale Divinity School and master of theological studies degree with distinction from the Iliff School of Theology. He is a board certified New York State Department of Corrections Protestant Chaplain.

Patricia F. Appelhans comes to APCTM with over 30 years of association management experience including 20 years as an executive director. In her prior positions, Appelhans was responsible for all aspects of non profit and association management, including financial, legal, fund development, certification, personnel, membership development and retention, program development, corporate planning and strategic planning. In addition, she has been a dedicated volunteer in her personal and professional communities, including within her church as coordinator of a homeless shelter and as past chair of the board of the Association Forum of Chicagoland.
