Call for Volunteers for APC State Leadership Position and Committees

APC Forum, September 2018, Vol. 20 No. 6

As our 2017-18 membership year closes, APC would like to remind you that there several ways for you to get more involved with your professional association as a Volunteer Leader.  APC is currently looking for volunteers in a number of important areas including State Representatives, State Continuing Education Chairs, as well as Committees and Task-Forces.  As a volunteer with APC, you will have opportunities to meet new people and actively participate in your organization. We’re looking for volunteers with enthusiasm and diverse perspectives. In exchange for your time and support, you will develop leadership skills that will benefit you professionally and personally.

Please consider applying to serve on one of our national committees by Oct. 31:

  • Education Committee
  • Membership Committee
  • Quality in Chaplaincy Care Committee
  • Communications Committee
  • Development Committee
  • Professional Ethics Committee

The volunteer term is for one to three years depending on the committee. A second term may be available. Most committees meet by conference call four to six times a year and by e-mail. To apply please review the committee description, committee member job description and fill out this volunteer application.

Several state positions are also available, including state representative and state continuing education chair.
